Rollø

An interactive and modular toy.

Rollø is a collaborative project in conjunction with a 7-year old child co-designer aiming to create an interactive object for the child to grow and develop with. The piece was to include repetitive elements, using baltic birch plywood to create a structure with a volume of less than half a cubic metre in size. 

Rollø is a modular marble run composed of vertical panels and track pieces, allowing for the creation of custom tracks with limitless configurations, and featuring a back and forth exchange between both sides of the panels. Key features include the ability of the marble to appear and disappear throughout the run, and a satisfying auditory tone when the marble descends the track.
